Etsy Keyword Extractor

Etsy SEO starts with understanding what keywords successful sellers are using. But manually copying tags from competitor listings is tedious, error-prone, and slow. You can't even select tag text on most Etsy pages without fighting the UI. Etsy Keyword Extractor does the work for you — automatically. Navigate to any Etsy listing page and the extension instantly extracts every tag and related search keyword from the listing. Tags appear in a floating panel on the page and in the extension popup, ready to copy individually, copy all at once, or download as a CSV file for your keyword research spreadsheet. **How it works:** A content script runs on etsy.com and uses multiple extraction strategies to find every tag and related search term on a listing page. It reads Etsy's internal data attributes, visual tag cards, text tag links, and tag pill elements. The extension even triggers Etsy's lazy-loaded tag sections to ensure nothing is missed. Results are displayed in both a floating on-page panel and the popup. **Extraction Methods (4 layers):** 1. **Data attribute parsing** — reads Etsy's `data-appears-event-data` JSON for the most complete tag list 2. **Visual tag cards** — extracts text from "Explore related searches" image cards 3. **Text tag links** — captures "Explore more related searches" text links 4. **Fallback selector** — scans for tag pill links with `ref=listing_tag` parameters **Key Features:** - **Automatic extraction** — tags are extracted the moment you visit an Etsy listing page - **Floating on-page panel** — see all extracted tags without opening the popup, with copy and CSV buttons built in - **Click-to-copy individual tags** — click any tag pill to copy that single keyword to clipboard - **Copy all tags** — one-click copies every extracted tag as a comma-separated list - **Download CSV** — export all tags with the listing title and URL as a CSV file for spreadsheet analysis - **Lazy-load trigger** — automatically scrolls to force Etsy to load tag sections that are otherwise hidden - **SPA navigation support** — detects Etsy's client-side page transitions and re-extracts tags on new listings - **Toggle on-page panel** — show or hide the floating panel from the popup settings - **SEO tips section** — built-in tips for using extracted keywords effectively - **Listing verification** — cross-checks listing IDs to ensure tags match the current page, never showing stale data - **Smart retry** — MutationObserver plus timed retries ensure tags are captured even on slow-loading pages **100% local. No servers. No accounts. No data collection.** Etsy Keyword Extractor reads tag data from Etsy listing pages and displays it locally. Nothing is sent to any external server. No analytics, no tracking, no API calls. Your keyword research stays private. **Built for:** Etsy sellers optimizing their listings, dropshippers researching niches, SEO consultants auditing Etsy shops, and anyone doing competitive keyword analysis on Etsy.
