Ethiopian Calendar New Tab

Ethiopian Calendar New Tab replaces Chrome's new tab page with a live Ethiopian calendar page. WHAT YOU SEE • Ethiopian time, shown large, with your local time beneath it • Today's Ethiopian date and weekday, with the Gregorian date • A ring of the 13 months with the current month and today's position marked • Today's public holidays, fasting status, season, feasts of the day and monthly commemoration • The next holidays and major Ethiopian Orthodox feasts, with how many days away they are • The whole year on one line: holidays, major feasts, the long fasts and a marker for today • Amharic and English HOW TO USE 1. Click "Add to Chrome" 2. Open a new tab 3. Chrome asks once whether to keep the new page; choose "Keep it" 4. Use the button in the top right corner to switch between Amharic and English PLEASE NOTE This replaces Chrome's own new tab page, including its search box and shortcut tiles. The address bar still searches as usual. Islamic holiday dates are estimates, marked with *, and may differ from local announcements. Orthodox coverage is a selected set, not a complete daily Synaxarium; confirm fasting guidance with your parish. PRIVACY The page works offline. It requests no permissions, makes no network requests and collects no data. Only your language choice is saved, on your own computer. SUPPORT Questions or suggestions: centg2g@gmail.com
