Ethiopian Calendar

SHORT DESCRIPTION View Ethiopian and Gregorian dates side by side, with holidays, Ethiopian time and optional Google Calendar appointments. DETAILED DESCRIPTION Ethiopian Calendar helps you check dates and plan across two calendar systems without manually converting between them. Open it from your Chrome toolbar to see today's date or browse all 13 Ethiopian months, with the corresponding Gregorian date shown in each day cell. Use the interface in Amharic or English, and view Ethiopian time alongside your local clock. Select a day to see listed public holidays and Ethiopian Orthodox observances, including fasting information. You can optionally connect your Google account to view Calendar appointments on Ethiopian dates. This connection uses read-only access and does not create or change your events. The toolbar badge shows today's appointment count when connected, or the Ethiopian day number otherwise. Appointment reminders are scheduled for 10 minutes before events, and daily notices highlight listed holidays and fasting days. The date view, clocks and built-in observance information work offline. Google Calendar features require an internet connection. Please note: Islamic holiday dates are estimates and may differ from local announcements. Orthodox observance coverage is selective, not a complete daily Synaxarium; confirm fasting guidance with your parish. Reminder delivery depends on Chrome running, notification permissions and periodic calendar refreshes.
