Emoji Anywhere

Emoji Anywhere helps you find and add real emoji to comments, messages, emails, and other writing in Chrome. Open the popup, browse by category or search for an emoji, then click to insert it at your writing cursor. Features 1. Browse eight emoji categories, including smileys and people, animals and nature, food, activities, travel, objects, symbols, and flags. 2. Search by emoji name, keyword, or emoji text. 3. Find your recently used emoji at the top. The default history limit is 20, and you can change it in Settings. 4. Add or remove favorites in Settings. 5. Hold Ctrl while clicking to copy instead of inserting. Command + Click also copies on Mac. 6. Use the Left and Right arrow keys to move through an emoji group. Selection wraps at either end. Press Enter to insert the highlighted emoji. 7. Open the popup with Alt + Q on Windows and Linux or Option + Q on Mac. Change or disable the shortcut through Chrome’s extension shortcut settings. 8. Choose Common emoji for broader font support or All emoji for the full bundled Unicode 17.0 catalogue. How to use Click inside a writing field and place your cursor. Open Emoji Anywhere from Chrome’s toolbar or with its keyboard shortcut. Choose an emoji to insert it. Emoji Anywhere uses real Unicode text and your computer’s installed fonts. Emoji details vary by platform. Some newer emoji may need newer fonts, and Windows may show country flags as letters. Direct insertion depends on the website’s editor. Some editors and protected browser pages do not allow insertion. You can copy an emoji and paste it yourself instead. All emoji features work offline. Your settings, favorites, and recent history stay in this browser. There are no accounts, analytics, or background network requests.
