About EMF Map · Powered by ZapAtlas
See estimated magnetic field levels while browsing homes, apartments, vacation rentals, and hotels.
EMF Map adds a compact information badge to supported property listings, helping you compare locations and understand nearby infrastructure before choosing where to live or stay. View an estimate for the listing location, compare it with the surrounding area, and open the full EMF Map for a closer look.
WHAT YOU CAN SEE
• Estimated magnetic field levels at the property or listing location, displayed in milligauss (mG).
• An estimated average for the surrounding area, providing context beyond a single point.
• The distance to the nearest mapped power line and its voltage, when available.
• Nearby cell-tower and data-center information, when available.
• A direct link to the full EMF Map at the listing’s location.
The compact badge keeps the information close to the listing you’re already viewing. Click it to expand the details as you compare properties.
WORKS WHERE YOU SEARCH
EMF Map works on supported home-buying, apartment-rental, hotel, and vacation-rental listings, including Zillow, Realtor.com, Apartments.com, Airbnb, Booking.com, and many more.
Support depends on the listing page providing usable location information and on available infrastructure data. Some pages or locations may not produce an estimate.
GET STARTED WITH A FREE TRIAL
Install the extension, open a supported listing, and verify your email using a one-time code. No password or credit card is required for the trial.
The trial includes up to 12 property analyses across supported sites, with a limit of 3 per hotel or vacation-rental site and 5 per other supported site.
After the trial, continue with a paid access pass. Standard 7-day and 30-day passes are one-time purchases.
UNDERSTANDING THE ESTIMATES
Magnetic field estimates are modeled using available infrastructure data, typical line strength, and distance. They provide a way to compare locations; they are not on-site measurements.
Listing coordinates may be approximate, particularly for vacation rentals. Apartment-community locations may represent the complex rather than an individual unit. Open the full map and pan or zoom to position a specific location beneath the gauge. The gauge updates as you move the map, showing the estimated magnetic field level at that point. Nearby cell-tower and data-center details describe infrastructure proximity, not measured exposure.
