Elide – Print Edit: Remove Anything Before You Print or Save PDF

Print the page you see, without the ads and clutter. Elide lets you remove ads, menus, pop-ups, comments and anything else from a web page before you print it or save it as a PDF. You choose what goes. Nothing is removed automatically, and removals can always be undone. HOW IT WORKS 1. Click the Elide icon. A panel opens beside the page. 2. Click anything on the page to select it, then click again (or press Delete) to remove it. 3. Press "Print or save PDF". CLEAN UP • "Remove ads" finds and removes the ads on a page in one step • Remove anything with a click, or drag to select several things at once • "Keep only this" removes everything except the article you picked • Select more or less of the page with the arrow keys • Remove all images in one step, or make single images smaller • Edit text: change or delete words before printing • Undo, redo, or restore everything at any time FIX THE LAYOUT • Stop headers and bars from repeating on every printed page • Expand chat windows and other scroll boxes so everything prints • Start a new page exactly where you want • Keep a table or picture together on one page • Make text bigger or smaller PRINTOUT • Letter or A4 paper, narrow, normal or wide margins • Keep the browser's title, date and link, show only page numbers, or remove them all • See where pages will split, with an estimated page count • Ink saver: black text and no background colours • Print link addresses next to links WHY ELIDE • It never covers the page. The controls sit in Chrome's side panel, so you always see exactly what will print. • Every removal and layout change can be undone, one step at a time. • No account, no sign-up, no ads. • Uses Chrome's own print dialog, so "Save as PDF" and all your printers work as usual. • Keyboard shortcut: Alt+Shift+P (Option+Shift+P on Mac). PRIVACY Elide runs on your computer. Nothing is uploaded and there's no account. It only runs on a page when you click its icon, and it has no analytics.
