Electric Café‘s Suitcase helps you compare hotel cash rates and points redemptions on the official Hilton, IHG and Marriott websites. Choose a hotel, dates and guests on the hotel website, then use one consistent panel to view cash prices, points requirements, value per 10,000 points and suggested dates. Decide where to stay, when to travel and whether to use cash or points. Key Features • Cash and points calendars: Follow the website's length of stay or switch to a single night. View whole-stay cash and points amounts, collection times and rate availability. Open a date for details and links to the corresponding official cash or points search. • Value calculations and date recommendations: Compare against the cash rate for your selected date, or use the median or average of collected cash rates as a typical-price reference. Explore dates by cash price, points or value, with date-range, weekend and points-budget filters and an adjustable value threshold. • Adjacent-month searches: When enabled, the extension reads the current month first, then retrieves the previous and next months within the current hotel page. Compare dates with lower cash rates, fewer points or higher reference value. Valid cached rates are reused, and you can cancel or refresh a search. • Saved hotels and like-for-like comparisons: Select saved hotels within the same hotel group and compare cash, points, redemption value, available ratings and amenities for the same dates and guests. Missing or expired data for the selected hotels is retrieved as needed, with individual refresh controls, highlighted advantages and differences. • Currencies and hotel information: Display comparable amounts in your chosen valuation currency while retaining original prices and the reference exchange-rate date. View available official ratings, amenities, addresses and map links. Optional Google lookups provide additional hotel ratings and star information, with sources clearly identified. • Five-night estimates: Hilton and Marriott offer "Stay 5, pay 4" candidates using their supported calculation rules, with official whole-stay quotes available to help check the estimate. Marriott estimates deduct the lowest-points night in a consecutive five-night stay, including dates across months. Estimates do not confirm membership eligibility, reward room type or availability for the complete stay. • English and Simplified Chinese: The three websites share familiar controls and display preferences while retaining their brand colors. An interactive tutorial lets you practice calendars, thresholds, currencies and hotel comparisons, and can be reopened from the panel at any time. Website Support and Rate Coverage Hilton: Cash and points calendars within the official booking flow, whole-stay quote checks, and five-night estimates for applicable standard reward stays. The interface identifies verified original-market tax-inclusive totals and tax-inclusive reference prices. Benefits remain subject to the hotel's official rules. IHG: Public standard rates and reward stays for one room with adults only. Automatic rates for stays with children and estimates of membership or credit-card free-night benefits are not currently supported. Marriott: Public standard cash rates and points quotes for one room with adults only, available from the hotel's room-rate page or availability calendar. Cash amounts are room-charge references; taxes, fees and points-booking cash supplements must be checked on the official website. Automatic rates for stays with children are not currently supported. On IHG or Marriott corporate, group or special-rate pages, the extension retrieves a separate public-rate reference. It excludes the negotiated discount and leaves the website's selected conditions unchanged. The calendar workflow supports one room. Data and Usage Quotes, saved hotels, hotel information and settings are stored locally in your browser. Quotes and saved hotels are managed separately for each hotel group; language and common display preferences are shared. View collection times and changes from comparable previous quotes, refresh data or clear local quotes by hotel group. Missing or unconfirmed prices are clearly marked. Rate and hotel-information requests access the relevant official hotel website. Exchange rates are requested from Frankfurter when needed; optional hotel-information lookups use Google. No additional cloud account is required. The extension does not book automatically or read passwords, account balances or payment information. Prices, availability, exchange rates and membership benefits can change. Cached quotes and estimates do not guarantee current availability. Cash and points offers may differ in room type, meals or cancellation terms, and reference values may not deduct an unconfirmed cash supplement. Availability on individual nights does not establish availability of the same room for the entire stay.
