Choose a folder on your computer. 3. Tick the albums you want. 4. Click "Start backup". Stop anytime; the next run only downloads what's new. FAQ Does it delete my photos? No. There is no delete function at all. Every photo stays in its album and in your Google account. Does it free up storage on my phone? No. It clears the clutter, not storage. Once Google Photos syncs, your phone shows the cleaner timeline too. Are backups in original quality? Not guaranteed. You get the files Google Photos serves in the browser. Original quality and EXIF data depend on Google. What if a photo is in two albums? It's saved in both folders, so every album folder is complete. How long does it take? Big libraries take a while. Speed depends on Google Photos and your connection. You can pause or stop anytime, and starting with a few albums is a good idea. Is it made by Google?
