Earnings Tracker for Prolific

Earnings Tracker for Prolific shows what you've made on Prolific today, this week, this month, this year and all time, split into money that's approved and money that's still awaiting review. It works inside Prolific itself: • "Today" and "This week" next to your balance in Prolific's header, with a ring that fills up toward your daily goal • While you're doing a study, the header shows the time you've spent and the time left before its time limit • On the Studies page, your own history with each researcher: how many of their studies you've done, your hourly rate with them, and any rejections • A row of earnings for every period under the Summary on your Submissions page • One click opens a full earnings panel on top of the page In the earnings panel: • Goals for the day, week and month, and the pace you're on • Notices when they're worth a look: yesterday's and last week's recap, a goal the week or month is heading to miss, and submissions stuck in review • Each period's approval rate, returns, what's still awaiting review and for how long, a small chart of the periods behind it, and how it compares with the previous one up to the same point • Charts by day, week, month or year, with projections: where the current period is heading at your pace so far, and the periods ahead at your recent average • A calendar of your year, and the days and hours you earn most • Every researcher you've worked for, with earnings, hourly rate, bonuses, returns and rejections • Every study you've done, by hourly rate, earnings, typical reward and time, so you know which ones are worth taking again • What's still awaiting review, longest waiting first, and a search across your whole history, including completion codes you can copy in one click • Yearly reports for any start date, month by month, converted at each month's average exchange rate, with the same months a year earlier beside them, to download for Excel or as a CSV, or print as a PDF • Excel downloads of your submissions and researchers too, with real dates and amounts you can sort, filter and add up • Optional notifications for approvals, bonuses, rejections, goals reached, a morning recap, and a warning before a study times out • Keyboard shortcuts, including Alt+Shift+E to open your earnings from any tab • Help for every part, from the Help tab or the ? button in the toolbar popup Getting started: a short tour shows what it does, and nothing is kept until you choose Get started. Then download your submission history on Prolific (Submission history, then Download submissions) and Earnings Tracker adds it up as it downloads. After that it keeps up from Prolific's own pages as you use them, tells you when to open your Submissions page to catch up, and you can check your totals from the toolbar on any tab. How earnings are counted • Approved: rewards of approved submissions, plus bonuses, adjustments and screen-out payments. A bonus that arrives later counts on the day it arrives • Pending: rewards of submissions awaiting review, matching Prolific's own Pending balance • Studies paid in pounds and dollars are kept separately and combined in your account currency at Prolific's own exchange rate Make it yours • Pick your currency: pounds, US dollars, euros, Australian dollars or any other currency with a market rate • Use Prolific's own exchange rate, the daily market rate, or rates you set yourself for each currency you're paid in • Choose the day your week starts, and whether submissions count from when you started or finished them • Turn off anything you don't want on Prolific's pages, or the toolbar badge Private by design • Your earnings data is stored only in your browser • It never asks Prolific for your data and never uses your sign-in: it reads what Prolific's pages already show you, and the history file you download • It never reserves, starts or returns studies, never refreshes Prolific's pages, and never acts on your account • No sign-up, no ads, no tracking, no analytics Free to use.
