About EarEffect – Sound for your browser tabs
EarEffect makes the voices in your web calls and online meetings easier to hear.
Join a call in Chrome — Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Zoom on the web, or any other browser-based call — and press the EarEffect icon on that tab. A small console appears on the page. Turn it ON and the other participants' voices are processed on your computer with presets made by a professional mastering engineer: muffled voices become clearer, harsh voices become softer, and thin phone-like voices gain body.
- Presets made for calls and online meetings
- Presets for speech: announcer, voice and talk
- Fixes for muffled, harsh and phone-quality voices
- BOOM (low end) and ATTITUDE (tone) knobs to fine-tune any preset
- Works on any website that plays sound in a tab
- Sound is processed on your computer. Audio is never recorded or sent anywhere.
Music and video too
EarEffect is not only for calls. On a tab playing music or video, switch to the Music presets for a mastered sound, with now playing, artwork colors and playback controls (previous / next / seek) on the console.
Note: EarEffect improves what you hear. It does not change your own microphone sound.
Free plan: the first preset of each category.
Premium: all presets, BOOM / ATTITUDE, now playing and playback controls. Pay monthly or yearly in your local currency. Premium works on the EarEffect Android app too when you sign in with the same Google account.
