The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About DrawCue — Screen Annotation & Presenter Tool
DrawCue is a simple screen annotation and presentation tool that lets you freeze what you're viewing in Chrome and explain it visually in seconds.
Freeze. Point. Explain.
Instead of trying to explain something with your cursor alone, DrawCue turns the visible browser screen into a temporary presentation canvas. Draw arrows, highlight important content, circle areas, add notes, use a laser pointer, and spotlight exactly what you want people to notice.
Perfect for online meetings, presentations, teaching, tutorials, product demos, PDF explanations, support calls, walkthroughs, and screen sharing.
KEY FEATURES
• Freeze the current browser screen
Capture the visible browser tab and work on a frozen copy while explaining.
• Pen & Freehand Drawing
Draw naturally over the captured screen with adjustable stroke size and color.
• Highlighter
Highlight important text, sections, buttons, or areas without obscuring the content.
• Arrows
Create clean arrows that point directly to the element you are explaining.
• Shapes
Use rectangles and circles to quickly mark important areas.
• Text Annotations
Add short notes, labels, reminders, or explanations directly onto the screen.
• Eraser
Remove individual annotations when you no longer need them.
• Laser Pointer
Use a visual laser pointer with a fading trail to guide attention during presentations and meetings.
• Spotlight
Dim the surrounding screen and keep attention focused on the area around your pointer.
• Undo & Redo
Quickly correct drawings and continue explaining without restarting.
• Clear Instantly
Remove all annotations with one action while keeping the current frozen screen.
• New Capture
Take a fresh capture whenever you move to a different section or page.
• Save as PNG
Export your annotated explanation as an image.
• Copy to Clipboard
Copy the annotated result for use in documents, messages, tutorials, or reports.
• Keyboard Shortcuts
Use quick keyboard controls to activate tools without interrupting your presentation.

5. Explain your content.
6. Clear the annotations or capture a new screen.
7. Save or copy the result when needed.
PRIVACY-FIRST DESIGN
DrawCue is designed to keep the experience local and simple.
• No account required
• No sign-in required
• No cloud workspace
• No screenshot uploads
• No unnecessary tracking
• No backend required for annotation
Your screenshots and annotations are processed locally by the extension. Screenshots are only saved when you explicitly choose to export them.
BROWSER COMPATIBILITY
DrawCue is designed for content visible inside Chrome, including webpages and browser-viewed PDFs.
Because DrawCue works by capturing the visible browser tab, it does not require permanent access to every website.
Please note that Chrome extensions cannot provide a true system-wide overlay over Windows or macOS desktop applications. DrawCue is designed for browser-based presentations and explanations.
