The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About DomainLane — Multi-Proxy Domain Router
DomainLane gives every domain a route you choose.
Add your own local or remote HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4, and SOCKS5 proxy profiles, or use the built-in DIRECT profile. Assign domains and exact sites to any number of ordered route groups. The first matching group wins, and unmatched requests use your selected default route.
Highlights:
• Multiple proxy profiles and unlimited ordered route groups
• Global bypass rules, wildcard domains, and real IPv4 CIDR matching
• Proxy URL and native DomainLane JSON import/export
• On-demand permission for HTTP/HTTPS proxy credentials
• Current browser proxy detection and safe import of a controllable single proxy
• No silent DIRECT fallback when a configured proxy fails
• Simplified Chinese and English interface
Privacy by design: configuration and credentials stay in local browser storage and are not synced. Passwords are excluded from exports by default. Traffic is sent only to DIRECT or to local and remote proxies selected by the user.
Limitations: Chromium exposes only the scheme, host, and port of HTTPS requests to PAC, so HTTPS path and query routing is unavailable. Chrome's extension proxy API does not support username/password authentication for SOCKS4 or SOCKS5.
