About Denker Browser Companion
Let Denker do web work for you in your own browser while you keep working.
Ask the Denker desktop app to read a page, fill in a form, click and select controls, scroll, drag, answer page dialogs, upload files, start media or save a report, invoice or other download. In your usual browser profile, Denker opens background tabs for its work, including pop-ups those pages open, or uses a tab you hand over with the toolbar button. Click the button again to take a handed-over tab back. If you choose a separate Denker browser profile, Denker can work in all its web tabs.
Requires a compatible Denker desktop app on macOS or Windows and Chrome 125 or later. The extension acts on requests from the Denker app on your computer. It does not read page content or send page-input actions to browser settings, extension pages or extension stores.
A welcome page explains what data is used and asks you to agree before Denker can work in your browser. Withdrawing consent from the extension's Options blocks new requests; a request already running may finish.
For some steps, Denker uses Chrome's debugger: trusted keyboard and mouse input, drags, dialogs, uploads, download detection, screenshots, starting media and waking frozen or unresponsive task tabs. Chrome shows a debugging bar while it is attached. Cancel the bar to stop debugger use in that tab while it stays open.
Page content, URLs, screenshots, task inputs and download details can be processed by Denker and your selected AI provider. Password-field values are excluded from page reads; task inputs, visible text, screenshots and URLs may still contain sensitive information. The extension inspects browser download events and recent download metadata locally to associate downloads with tasks and avoid repeated downloads. After consent, window bounds and salted hashes of current-tab titles help the local app match browser windows. The extension also sends its version, browser version and a random profile identifier. Review the privacy policy before letting Denker work on sensitive pages.
When you ask, Denker can also bring its browser window forward, resize it or change the page zoom.
The extension has no analytics or remote executable code, and no separate server connection. Task data passes through a local native connection to Denker. Requested website navigation and downloads use the browser's network connection.
