The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About DDD / Daily Diary Decades
The DDD / Daily Diary Decades Chrome Extension is a companion tool that adds your daily records to the DDD library located in the private appDataFolder of your Google Drive. You can toggle the side panel from your browser's toolbar to quickly record the day's events and thoughts.
Key Features
- Toggle the side panel via the toolbar icon
- A dated recording interface shared with the Web version
- Auto-save drafts while typing
- Connect to Google Drive and add entries to the same DDD library as the Web version
- Queue offline records within Chrome and sync them upon your next connection
- View recent records from the DDD library
- Real-time character count display
- Add records using Ctrl+Enter / Command+Enter
- Delete individual records after confirmation
Connection to Google Drive is initiated only when you review the instructions in the side panel and click the connect button. Once connected, the record text, record date, and creation timestamp are sent to the DDD library in your Google Drive. Drafts in progress and queued records for syncing are saved locally. Records are not sent to the developer's server, nor are they used for advertising or analytics. The extension does not access web page content or browsing history.
