The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About DataPit — Contact Lookup

DataPit — Contact Lookup shows you which people on the page are in your DataPit database, and reveals their work email in one click. Free to install. WHERE IT WORKS • On a LinkedIn profile or a Sales Navigator lead, a DataPit card shows whether that person is in your database. • In Gmail, a DataPit button lists the people in the email thread or draft you have open. • In Google Calendar, it lists the guests of the event you have open. • In your CRM, it lists the people on the HubSpot or Salesforce record you have open. • On a company's website, click the DataPit icon in your toolbar to see that company and its people in DataPit. WHAT IT DOES • If the person is in DataPit, reveal their work email in one click. A reveal costs 4 credits, and is free if your team has already revealed that contact. • If the person on a LinkedIn profile isn't in DataPit yet, they're queued so DataPit's data team can source them. HOW TO START 1. Sign in to DataPit (a free account works) and create an API key under Settings → API & Extension. 2. Click the DataPit icon in your toolbar and paste the key. 3. Open a profile, an email, an event or a CRM record. The DataPit button shows how many people it can look up. WHAT WE ACCESS • On LinkedIn: only profile and lead pages, and from each only five fields: name, profile URL, job title, current company and location. • In email, calendar and CRM pages: only the email addresses of the people on the thread, event or record you have open, and only after you open the DataPit card. It never reads message text, subjects, attachments or event details. • On other websites: only the site's domain, and only when you click the DataPit icon. It never reads the page. • Your API key is stored in your browser. Data is sent only to DataPit's own servers, and the extension never reads your browsing history. Privacy policy: https://datapit.io/chrome-extension/privacy A DataPit account is required (a free plan is available). The extension is a companion to DataPit and does nothing without an API key.
