Bring a consistent dark interface to Google Docs, Sheets and Slides. Dark Docs, Sheets & Slides pairs neutral charcoal surfaces with light grey text and familiar blue, green and yellow accents. It themes the home screens and editors, including toolbars, menus and sidebars. CHOOSE WHAT TURNS DARK • Dark mode: one master switch for the theme. • Dark content: separate Docs, Sheets and Slides switches let you choose which apps use dark editor content. • Slides starts off, so presentations keep their original appearance by default. BUILT AROUND YOUR CONTENT Your saved document formatting stays unchanged. The extension changes how supported content is displayed in your browser. Colored document text, highlights and images are handled selectively rather than applying a whole-page inversion. Near-grayscale artwork can be adapted to dark pages; neutral areas and faint colors in thumbnails and dark slide previews may also change. Turn off the relevant content control whenever you want the original appearance. SIMPLE CONTROLS Open the toolbar popup to change your settings. Preferences are saved locally. Turning off Dark mode restores the original view while remembering your choices. The Slides content switch also controls its editor filmstrip. Dark thumbnails controls home-screen previews and starts on. Dark images has its own switch. Changes to document-page or worksheet rendering may refresh the editor.
