D - Video Downloader

D finds the videos playing on the web page you are viewing and saves them to your computer, entirely inside your browser. FEATURES • Detects videos automatically while you browse: streaming video (HLS and DASH) and regular video files (MP4, WebM). • Lists every available quality — pick 1080p, 720p, 480p and more before downloading. • Saves video and audio together in one ready-to-play file; separate audio tracks are combined for you. • Fast: downloads many parts of a video in parallel, retries interrupted parts, and shows live progress. • Download queue, cancel at any time, and an optional history of past downloads. • Recognises DRM-protected video and labels it instead of producing a broken file. • Light, dark and colour themes. HOW TO USE 1. Open a web page with a video and start playing it. 2. Click the D icon in the toolbar — the videos found on the page are listed. 3. Choose a quality and click Download. The file is saved to your downloads folder. PRIVACY D has no servers and collects nothing. It runs completely in your browser: no analytics, no ads, no accounts. Your settings and download history stay on your device. D only connects to the website you are on and the servers that website uses for its video. Nothing about the sites you visit is recorded or sent anywhere. NOT SUPPORTED • DRM-protected videos (for example paid streaming services) — labelled as protected, never bypassed. • Live streams. • YouTube. It opens a short form you can review before sending — nothing is recorded unless you submit it.
