About ContextSlicer - Multi-Text Selection & Copy
ContextSlicer enables non-contiguous text extraction and excerpt aggregation across web pages.
Holding the Alt key allows you to mark multiple scattered passages on any article. Gathered excerpts are automatically organized into color categories, ready to export in a single step without altering the underlying web layout.
KEY CAPABILITIES
Categorized Excerpt Collection
Organize items across seven distinct color groups. You can export all groups at once or retrieve only passages marked with a specific tone.
Structured Formatting & Citations
Customize how clipped passages join together using spaces, line breaks, or custom separators. Enable source attribution to automatically append the original page title and link to your clipboard output.
Draggable Toolbar & Quick Undo
A movable floating action pill provides quick access to common actions and remembers its screen coordinates. Pressing Ctrl+Z instantly reverts the most recent clipping.
Cross-Tab Session Basket
Switch on cross-tab mode to accumulate clippings across multiple open browser tabs into one unified session.
Clean Architecture & Local Processing
Built with the browser native CSS Custom Highlight API, ensuring web page structures and input forms remain untouched. Operates entirely locally with zero network requests or analytics.
