Confidential AI protects your personal data before it is sent to an AI service. The extension analyzes prompts locally, detects sensitive information, and lets you replace it with anonymous placeholders such as [PERSON_1], [EMAIL_1], or [COMPANY_1]. It can detect: - First and last names - Companies and organizations - Addresses and locations - Email addresses and phone numbers - IBANs and payment cards - Social Security numbers - IP addresses and private URLs Before submission, a review window displays the detected information and the anonymized prompt. You decide exactly what should be replaced or kept. The multilingual ONNX model runs directly inside Chrome. Your prompts and detected data are not sent to a remote analysis server. Confidential AI works with ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Perplexity, and many other AI interfaces. Simply click the extension icon on the relevant tab to activate protection.
