CommentLens

# CommentLens — Chrome Web Store Description --- ## Short Description (132 characters max) Search, filter, bookmark & clean up YouTube comments. Find timestamps, block spam, and save the best comments instantly. --- ## Full Description **CommentLens** is the ultimate YouTube comment tool. Search through thousands of comments in seconds, jump to timestamps, filter by type, bookmark your favourites, and automatically hide spam — all from a sleek floating panel right on the page. --- 🔍 **SEARCH YOUTUBE COMMENTS INSTANTLY** YouTube has no built-in comment search. CommentLens fixes that. Type any word, phrase, or author name and instantly find every matching comment on the video — no more scrolling endlessly to find that one comment you remember. ⏱️ **EXTRACT & JUMP TO TIMESTAMPS** Commenters often post helpful chapter markers and timestamps that YouTube ignores. CommentLens automatically finds every timestamp in the comments and turns them into clickable buttons that jump the video to that exact moment. ⚡ **FILTER COMMENTS BY TYPE** Cut through the noise. Filter comments to show only questions, reviews and opinions, or comments containing timestamps. Perfect for finding genuine feedback, helpful tips, or community answers fast. 🔖 **BOOKMARK COMMENTS ACROSS VIDEOS** Found a comment worth keeping? Save it with one click. Your bookmarked comments are stored with a link back to the original video so you can find them again anytime — even weeks later. 🧹 **AUTO-HIDE SPAM & BOT COMMENTS** Tired of "first!", bot spam, and self-promotion clogging every comment section? CommentLens automatically detects and hides spam comments. You can also add your own custom blocked words and phrases for even more control. ⚠️ **OUTDATED COMMENT WARNINGS** Comments from years ago can give misleading information. CommentLens badges old comments so you always know when advice might be out of date. --- **WHY COMMENTLENS?** ✅ Works on every YouTube video automatically ✅ Draggable floating panel — put it anywhere on screen ✅ 100% private — all data stored locally on your device ✅ No account required, no sign-up, no tracking ✅ Lightweight — won't slow down your YouTube experience ✅ Free to use --- **PERFECT FOR:** — Researchers and students looking for answers in comment sections — Music fans finding timestamps and chapter markers — Anyone tired of spam and bot comments — Viewers who want to save insightful or funny comments — People who rely on community knowledge in tutorial videos --- **PRIVACY** CommentLens collects zero personal data.
