ClipM8 – Clean Web Clipper & Highlighter

Pocket is gone. Evernote became expensive and complicated. ClipM8 is the focused alternative that saves what matters and gets out of the way. Save a clean article, a complete readable page, selected text, or a full-page screenshot in a couple of clicks. Highlight passages in four colours, attach short notes, and see those highlights again when you return to the page. Everything starts locally. There is no account wall, advertising, analytics, forced AI, or remote code. Your clips and notes stay in your Chrome profile unless you choose to export or enable metadata-only Chrome Sync. Capture without clutter - Save clean articles, readable pages, selections, and screenshots - Use the toolbar, keyboard shortcut, or right-click menu - Preserve headings, lists, links, and article images Remember what mattered - Highlight in yellow, green, blue, or pink - Add and edit short notes - Reopen saved highlights from your library - Create optional on-device summaries; content is not sent to ClipM8 Stay organised - Search titles, descriptions, tags, collections, and content - Pin favourites - Bulk tag, move, favourite, export, or remove clips - Find duplicate URLs - Restore removed clips for 30 days Own your library - Export Markdown, plain text, HTML, PDF, or a self-contained share file - Import Pocket, Evernote, Instapaper, and browser bookmarks - Download full JSON backups and create local recovery snapshots - Optionally sync lightweight metadata with Chrome Sync ClipM8 is deliberately a clipper - not a full notes suite, social network, or AI product.
