The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About ClipHive
ClipHive: a fast, private clipboard history for Chrome.
Copy text on any page and ClipHive saves it. Open your history with one click or Ctrl+Shift+V (Cmd+Shift+V on Mac), find what you need, and paste it again.
FEATURES
• Searchable clipboard history (100 clips by default, adjustable)
• One-click re-copy, or paste straight into the active text field
• Keeps formatting with rich text support
• Pin clips, sort them into folders, and save reusable templates
• Detects tokens, passwords and API keys, then masks them and can delete them automatically
• Pause capturing at any time
• Export and import as JSON or CSV
• Optional sync across devices through Chrome sync
PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
Your clips stay on your device unless you turn on sync. No ads, no analytics, no tracking. ClipHive is open source, so you can check the code yourself.
PERMISSIONS
• Clipboard: read and write copied text
• Storage: save your clips locally
• Active tab: paste into the page you're on
• Alarms: delete expired sensitive clips
