The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About ClipClaw
ClipClaw on phone is the primary place to save, tag, search, and copy prompts and text snippets (local-first). This Chrome extension is a desktop companion on the same product line. It does not replace the mobile app; it helps you prepare and move text between PC and phone.
Feature Role in prompt workflow
QR code Turn any text (typed, pasted, or sent from a page selection) into a QR code so you can scan it on your phone into ClipClaw or other apps.
Markdown editor Draft or refine prompts/snippets on PC; import/export .md for backup and migration aligned with the mobile app.
Pair (LAN) Optional: enter the 4-letter code from the phone, detect your Wi‑Fi subnet, and open the phone’s local service URL to link browser and device on the same network.
Context menu Right‑click selected text on a page → “Send to ClipClaw” → opens the extension with that text in the QR view.
Footer / Play link Points users to the Android app for full prompt library management on mobile.
Single integrated purpose: help ClipClaw users manage and transfer prompt-related text between computer and phone—via QR, Markdown files, and optional LAN pairing—without accounts, ads, analytics SDKs, or uploading editor content to ViFly servers in normal use.
