The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About ClipCatch - Video & Stream Downloader
ClipCatch detects playable videos and HLS (.m3u8) streams on any website and saves them to your computer with one click — entirely inside your browser, with no external server involved.
HOW IT WORKS
• Hover over any video on a page — a small download badge appears in the corner
• Click it, and the file downloads through Chrome's own download manager
• Open the toolbar popup any time to see exactly what was detected on the current tab before downloading
WHAT IT HANDLES
• Direct MP4 and WebM files
• HLS (.m3u8) adaptive streams, including multi-quality playlists you can pick from
• Sites that split video and audio into separate streams (common on X/Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube) — ClipCatch merges them back into a single, playable file automatically
PRIVACY, IN ONE LINE
ClipCatch has no backend. Nothing you browse, watch, or download is ever collected, transmitted, or seen by us — everything happens locally, in your browser. Full privacy policy: [buraya yayınladığım gizlilik politikası linkini koyun]
HONEST LIMITATIONS
• DRM-protected streams (Widevine, FairPlay) cannot be downloaded — this is a browser security limitation, not a bug
• Live streams capture only the segments available in the playlist at the moment you download
• A small number of sites may reject requests due to strict referrer/origin checks
You're responsible for making sure you have the right to download and use any content you save with ClipCatch.
