Clip & Save HLS — M3U8 Downloader

Don't download the whole stream. Download only the part you need. Clip & Save HLS turns web videos (HLS / M3U8 streams) into offline MP4 files — and unlike most downloaders, it lets you pick just the part you want before downloading. WHY CHOOSE THIS ONE ✂️ Clip by timeline — drag the start / end handles to select a range (shown as HH:MM:SS) and download only that segment. A short cut from a 2-hour stream takes seconds, not gigabytes. 🔍 Auto-detect streams — open any page playing HLS / M3U8 video and the stream appears in the extension. No devtools, no copying URLs. 🔐 AES-128 decryption — encrypted streams are decrypted locally on your device. 🎞️ Clean MP4 output — fragments are remuxed into a standard MP4 that plays on phones, tablets and TVs. 🛡️ Runs in the background — close the popup, the download keeps going with automatic retries. ⚡ Adaptive concurrency — Pro scales up to 32 parallel connections, so large videos download several times faster on good networks. PERFECT FOR • Grabbing a highlight from a long livestream replay • Saving a lecture chapter or a single episode segment • Keeping offline copies of videos from sites that use HLS streaming • Anyone tired of downloading entire 2GB files for a 3-minute clip FREE vs PRO Free: auto-detect, timeline clipping, AES-128 decryption, MP4 conversion, 4 parallel connections — up to 5 minutes per download, no limit on how many videos. Pro ($4.99 one-time, lifetime): unlimited download length (full video or any range) + adaptive concurrency up to 32×. No subscription, device-bound license, free re-issue if you change devices, instant activation. HOW IT WORKS 1. Play any HLS / M3U8 video — the extension detects the stream automatically 2. Pick the stream and drag the timeline handles to set the range you want 3. Hit download — get a clean MP4 file Downloading, decryption and conversion all run locally in your browser. No account required, no tracking. INTENDED USE Use only for content you have the right to download: your own recordings, lectures you are allowed to keep, public-domain or Creative Commons video, and livestream replays you are authorized to save. Do not use this extension to download copyrighted movies, paid courses, or DRM-protected streams. Support: javpo1771@gmail.com
