Export any table on a page to CSV. Merged cells are expanded correctly, so rows never shift.

The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About CleanTable — HTML Table to CSV
Most table exporters get merged cells wrong, and they get them wrong silently.
A table with rowspan or colspan is not a grid. Most tools walk the rows and write them out as they find them — which shifts every row below a merged cell one column to the left. The CSV opens fine. The numbers are under the wrong headers. Nothing warns you.
CleanTable rebuilds the grid the way the browser lays it out, so every value stays in its column.
WHAT YOU GET
• Every data table on the page, listed with its caption, row count and column count.
• Correct rowspan and colspan expansion — the merged value is repeated across the cells it covers, so you can sort and filter in your spreadsheet.
• A count of how many merged cells were expanded, so you can see it did the work.
• Download as CSV or copy to the clipboard.
• Comma, semicolon or tab as separator. Use semicolon if Excel opens your file in a single column (that happens in every locale that uses the comma as a decimal separator).
• A UTF-8 BOM in the downloaded file, so Excel on Windows shows accents instead of mojibake.
• Layout tables and single-column lists are skipped, so you see the tables you actually came for.
SAFE BY DEFAULT
Cell text coming from a web page can start with =, +, @ or a tab — which Excel and Google Sheets execute as a formula. That is a real attack (OWASP calls it CSV injection). CleanTable neutralizes those cells so they stay text. Plain numbers, including negatives, are left alone: prefixing them would turn a numeric column into text and break your sums.
HONEST ABOUT PERMISSIONS
• Two permissions: activeTab and scripting. That is the whole list.
• No host permissions. CleanTable cannot read any page you have not explicitly asked it to — it only ever looks at the tab you are on, and only from the moment you open the popup. Opening it is the gesture that grants access.
• No account, no sign-up, no servers, no network requests, no ads, no trackers, no remote code. Everything runs locally in your browser.
WHY IT WILL KEEP WORKING
CleanTable reads standard HTML. The table element, rowspan and colspan are part of the web platform and their meaning has not changed since 1997. It does not depend on any single website's private markup, so it does not break when a platform redesigns.
SINGLE PURPOSE
Extract the tables of the page you are on and export them to CSV. Nothing else: no crawling, no scheduling, no data collection.
