The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Clean Paste for Translate
Copying text out of a PDF puts a hard line break at the end of every line. Paste that into Google Translate or DeepL and each line is treated as its own paragraph, so sentences are cut in half and the translation falls apart.
Clean Paste for Translate fixes this automatically. When you paste on a supported translator site, it rejoins the broken lines into whole paragraphs before the translator sees the text.
FEATURES
• Works automatically on Google Translate, DeepL, Bing Translator, Baidu Translate and Youdao — just press Ctrl+V
• Keeps real paragraphs and headings, even when the PDF has no blank lines between paragraphs
• Smart hyphenation: "frag-ments" becomes "fragments", while "E-Mail", "COVID-19" and "self-aware" keep their hyphens
• Joins Chinese and Japanese lines without adding spaces
• Ctrl+Z undoes the cleaned paste; Ctrl+Shift+V pastes the original text unchanged
• Manual cleanup box in the toolbar popup for text you want to use anywhere else
• Interface in English, German and Chinese
PRIVACY
All processing happens locally in your browser. The extension makes no network requests, collects no data and contains no tracking. The only permission it needs is storage, to remember the on/off switch.
