Claude Speed Booster is a Chrome extension that adds the things Claude's own interface leaves out. See how much of your usage limit is left before you hit it, save any conversation as a file you keep, clear out old chats in one action, jump straight to any message, and keep very long conversations opening fast. ── SEE YOUR USAGE LIMIT ── The question everyone asks is "how much do I have left?" and Claude does not put the answer on screen. This extension does. A panel inside Claude shows your current session and your weekly usage as a percentage, with a bar and the exact time each one resets. Above 70% the bar turns amber, above 90% red — so you notice before you run out, not after. The numbers come straight from Claude's own usage data. Nothing is estimated and nothing is guessed. ── SAVE A CONVERSATION AS A FILE ── One click turns a chat into a document that stays with you. The PDF is a real vector file — selectable text, page numbers, working links — not a long screenshot. There is also an editable version for Word and Google Docs, a clean one for your notes app, and a structured one for developers. Export the whole conversation, or tick only the messages you actually want. Everything is built inside your own browser, so the conversation is never uploaded anywhere to be converted. ── SEARCH INSIDE A CONVERSATION ── Ctrl + F that really works on Claude. Your browser's find bar only sees what is drawn on screen, which in a long chat is a small part of it. This replaces that bar and searches the whole conversation, including messages that have not been rendered yet. Jump between hits, and filter by what you wrote, what Claude answered, or just the code blocks. ── DELETE OLD CHATS IN ONE ACTION ── After a few months the sidebar fills with half-finished experiments and one-line questions. Claude removes them one at a time: open a menu, click delete, confirm — for every single conversation. This panel lists all of your chats together with a filter box. Type a word and only the matching ones stay on screen, tick what you want and remove them in a single action. Deleting cannot be undone, so it asks you twice on purpose. ── EVERY MESSAGE IN ONE LIST ── The chat navigator lists every message of the conversation in order. Pick one and jump straight to it instead of scrolling for a minute looking for the answer you half remember. If the message you choose is one the optimiser has hidden, the extension turns trimming off for that conversation, reloads, and takes you there. You can switch trimming back on from the panel whenever you want. ── KEEP LONG CONVERSATIONS FAST ── Claude loads the whole conversation at once. In a thread with hundreds of messages that means the browser is holding all of them on screen, and everything gets heavy — scrolling stutters, typing lags. The optimiser keeps exactly the number of messages you set and brings the rest back as you scroll up, so a 500-message chat opens like a fresh one. Nothing is deleted: your conversation stays untouched on Claude's side. ── YOUR CHATS STAY ON YOUR COMPUTER ── The extension does not read, store, analyse or transmit your conversations. Files are built on your own machine and handed straight to Chrome as a download, so there is no server in the middle and nothing to upload. It runs only on claude.ai, touches no other site, and needs no password. Signing in sends only your Google account name and email, so your licence can be recognised. ── ── Available in 55 languages.
