**ChatGPT QuickSnippet** is a browser productivity extension for ChatGPT, Gemini, and WhatsApp Web, focused on three core capabilities: quick text insertion, usage monitoring, and message export. ### Key Features **• Quick Snippets** Create and manage prompts, frequently used replies, work templates, customer service scripts, and personal commands, organized into four categories: General, ChatGPT, Gemini, and WhatsApp. You can click the Quick Snippets button next to the input box to quickly insert content, or create shortcut commands beginning with `//` to expand full snippets directly in the chat input box. The extension also supports search, sorting, hiding, pinning, import, export, and optional Chrome account sync, making it easier to organize, back up, and migrate your snippets. **• Usage Monitoring** Displays a draggable and collapsible usage monitor on ChatGPT and Gemini pages, showing information such as the currently available quota, percentage used, and reset time. The information displayed automatically adapts to the usage windows available for the current account. You can also hide the monitor or adjust its refresh interval. **• Export as Image or PDF** Export selected AI responses from the response action bar in ChatGPT and Gemini as PNG images or PDF files. Image export supports copying to the clipboard, downloading locally, or doing both at the same time. It preserves headings, lists, code, formulas, tables, images, and other content wherever possible. PDF export is processed through a dedicated preview window. Text, headings, lists, code, and links remain selectable, copyable, and searchable wherever possible, while formulas, images, complex graphics, and extra-wide tables are converted as needed for compatibility. Once preparation is complete, you can use Chrome’s native print dialog to choose the paper size, margins, and save location. Currently, image and PDF exports include only the selected AI response and do not include the user’s question. ### Privacy & Data Quick Snippets are stored by default in the current browser’s `chrome.storage.local` and are not sent to the extension developer’s servers. Only when the user explicitly enables Chrome account sync will snippets that meet Chrome’s storage limits be synced across devices using Chrome’s built-in sync functionality. Content that exceeds the sync limits will remain stored locally. Response images and PDFs are generated only when the user explicitly initiates an export. The related content is processed within the current browser and is not uploaded to the extension developer’s servers. The extension does not collect, sell, or use users’ snippets, chat content, account passwords, or personally identifiable information for advertising or analytics purposes. Temporary authentication credentials used to retrieve usage information are kept in the extension’s background memory only when necessary. They are not stored locally and are not transmitted to third-party servers. The extension does not automatically send chat messages, modify account settings, or perform transactions on the user’s behalf.
