The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About ChartTrail
ChartTrail perfectly solves the pain points of TradingView's native sessions being unable to be saved persistently in large quantities, and the inability to add independent notes to individual trades. As a Chrome extension built for TradingView users, it keeps trading records, chart screenshots, sessions, tags, and performance stats neatly organized inside a side panel, giving you a cleaner way to review trades and backtests.
Key features:
- Local trade journal for direction, price, P&L, time, tags, notes, and screenshots.
- Multiple sessions for different strategies, symbols, or backtest phases.
- Performance stats including total trades, win rate, net P&L, expectancy, average trade, and equity curve.
- TradingView page integration for reading the current chart context.
- User-triggered chart screenshots with local storage.
- HTML report export for local backup and further analysis.
- Chinese and English UI.
Privacy and permissions:
ChartTrail's core workflow is built for TradingView pages. To make user-triggered chart screenshots reliable from the side panel, the extension declares the viewport capture permission. It is used when you actively click the screenshot button; ChartTrail does not capture screenshots in the background or automatically collect content from other websites. Trades, screenshots, sessions, and tags are stored locally in your browser by default. Data leaves your device only when you actively choose to export files or send feedback.
ChartTrail is not an official TradingView product and is not affiliated with TradingView. Trading and investment decisions remain the user's responsibility.
