Certentis – AI Detector, Humanizer & Plagiarism Checker

The Certentis Chrome extension puts an AI humanizer, an AI detector and a plagiarism checker in a side panel next to the page you are on. Select text on any website, right-click, and work on it without switching tabs. It is made for students, writers and editors who want to check a text before they hand it in or publish it. Three tools, one account • Humanizer: rewrites stiff, AI-sounding text so it reads naturally. Meaning and language stay the same, and citations, links, DOIs and footnote references are left untouched. You get the rewritten text together with its Certentis AI-analysis scores. • AI analysis: an AI checker that estimates how likely a text is AI-generated, mixed or human-written. You get probabilities for the whole document and a signal for each sentence. • Plagiarism check: compares your text with web sources and shows which sources match and how much of your text they cover. How it works 1. Select text on any web page. 2. Right-click and choose one of the three Certentis actions. 3. The side panel opens with your selection loaded. Nothing runs until you press the button. You can also open Certentis from the toolbar and paste text in. If you humanized text from an editable field, such as a text box or an online editor, one click puts the new version back in its place. Or copy it to the clipboard. Every result is saved to your Certentis history, so you can open it again later in the web app. The panel is available in many languages, and you can switch between them at any time. Your text, your call • Selecting text only loads it into the panel. Only the text you choose to run is sent to Certentis, over HTTPS. • The address and title of the page the text came from stay in your browser. They are only used to show where the selection came from. • You sign in on the Certentis sign-in page, so the extension never sees your password. Your session is kept in Chrome's local extension storage and removed when you sign out. • No ads, no tracking scripts, no selling of data, no remotely hosted code. Good to know • A Certentis account is required. • The Humanizer and the AI analysis use the same word credit as the Certentis web app. An AI analysis needs one credit for every two words it scans. • The Humanizer takes 100 to 30,000 characters and up to 3,000 words per run. • AI-analysis scores are probabilities and signals, not proof that a text was written by AI.
