About cashew
cashew — optimize the game.
Most people own 3–5 credit cards. Almost nobody knows which one to use at any given moment. You're probably leaving real money on the table every time you check out. cashew fixes that.
It detects the site you're shopping on, looks up the category, and instantly tells you which card in your wallet earns the most — right when you need to know.
How it works Open cashew while you're shopping and it shows you:
Your best card for this merchant or category
The earn rate (4x dining, 5x airfare, etc.)
Alternative cards and how they compare
Any active card-linked offers that apply
No guessing. No cross-referencing reward guides. Just the answer.
Works with your cards, not a generic list cashew recommends from your actual wallet — the cards you've added to your account. If you have a Chase Sapphire Reserve and an Amex Gold, it picks between them based on the merchant in front of you, not based on what earns commissions.
Also included
Card-linked offers — cashew finds and saves Chase, Wells Fargo, and Amex offers from your bank's offers page, then highlights matching ones at checkout. One-click "Activate all" on Chase and Wells Fargo.
New for you — when an offer lands on a merchant you've saved or recently shopped at, cashew pins it to the top of your offers list.
Credit tracker — see unused credits across all your cards before they expire (Amex $10 dining, Chase $300 travel, and more).
Portfolio gaps — see which spending categories your cards don't cover well, with recommendations to fill them.
Welcome bonus tracking — track minimum spend progress on active welcome bonuses.
Annual fee ROI — understand whether each card is paying for itself.
Privacy first cashew reads card-linked offers from your bank's offers page (Chase, Wells Fargo, Amex) while you're already logged in, and saves them to your cashew account so you can see them at checkout. We never see, store, or proxy your bank login. Bank account linking (Plaid) is optional and lives in the cashew web app — not in this extension. We see the merchant URL you're shopping on, the offers visible on your bank's offers page, and nothing else.
cashew is a companion to the cashew web app at meetcashew.com, where you can manage your full card portfolio, track credits, and explore recommendations in more depth.
