Capturly - Mic & Camera Check

Never wonder if you look and sound good again. Capturly tests your microphone and camera quality before any video call, then quietly keeps an eye on things when you join meetings on Google Meet, Zoom (web), and Microsoft Teams. Free, no account required. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ BEFORE YOUR CALL ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Open the popup for an instant device check: • Live camera preview with real-time video quality analysis — brightness, sharpness, framing, and blocked-camera detection • Audio level meter so you can see exactly how loud you are • Audio quality scoring — background noise, clipping, and silence detection with plain-English recommendations • One clear verdict: "You're ready for your call!" • Choose your favorite mic and camera and save them as preferences ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHEN YOU JOIN A MEETING ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ On supported meeting sites, Capturly has your back as you join: • Pre-join overlay showing your latest mic & camera check — and a reminder to run one if you haven't • Muted-speaking alerts — get a heads-up if you're talking while muted • Camera alerts mid-call — know right away if your video goes dark or your camera looks blocked or covered • Device-disconnect alerts if a mic or camera gets unplugged during a call ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WORKS WITH ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • Google Meet • Zoom (web client) • Microsoft Teams ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ CHROMEBOOKS, SCHOOLS & TEAMS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Capturly works great on Chromebooks and in managed environments. IT admins can deploy it via Google Admin Console and preset policies — including disabling crash reporting org-wide — through standard Chrome managed-storage configuration. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ PRIVACY-FIRST ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ All audio and video analysis happens locally in your browser. Your mic and camera streams never leave your machine, nothing is ever recorded or stored, and test streams are discarded the instant you close the popup. The extension reads nothing from meeting pages beyond what it needs to know when you're joining a call. Anonymous crash reports help us fix bugs — you can switch them off anytime in Settings → Privacy.
