The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About CaptureFlow — Screenshot & Annotate
CaptureFlow makes capturing, recording and explaining your screen effortless — right inside your browser.
NEW — CAPTUREFLOW STUDIO, FOR TEACHERS AND TUTORS
Record a full lesson with your screen, your face and your drawings in one video.
• Record your screen, one window, one tab, or just your camera
• Your face in a round bubble, side-by-side, or full frame — drag the bubble anywhere
• Draw while you teach: pen, highlighter, arrows, lines, shapes, text, laser pointer and spotlight
• Draw right on Google Slides, a PDF or any web page — the drawing tools sit in a floating window, so only your ink appears in the video
• Freeze & Draw holds your screen still so you can annotate it; a whiteboard is one click away
• Record in segments and retake only the part you got wrong — the rest of the lesson stays
• Export an MP4 (plays everywhere, uploads to YouTube as-is) or WebM, in 720p, 1080p or 4K
• Or upload it and get a share link for your class
• Lessons are saved on your own computer, so you can come back next week and keep going
• Free plan: lessons up to 30 minutes with a small "Made with CaptureFlow" mark. The paid plan removes both.
SCREENSHOTS
• Visible area — grab exactly what's on your screen in one click
• Selected region — drag to capture any part of the page
• Full page — scrolls and stitches the entire page into one tall image
• Delayed capture — a countdown so you can open menus and hover states first
• Entire screen or an app window — capture anything outside the browser
SCREEN RECORDING
• This Tab, Desktop, Camera Only, or a Custom Area you drag a box around
• Microphone and tab audio, on or off — you decide before you start
• Pause and resume, with an on-page bar that always shows what is being recorded
• Stop, then choose: get a share link, or download the file
ANNOTATE
• Arrows, rectangles, ellipses, lines, freehand pen and highlighter
• Text labels, callout bubbles and numbered steps
• Blur tool to hide sensitive information before you share
• Emoji and image stamps, crop, zoom, unlimited undo/redo
SHARE & EXPORT
• Upload and get an instant link that plays in any browser — no plugin, no app
• Viewers can leave comments, including timestamped comments on a video
• Download as PNG, JPG or WebP; copy to the clipboard; print
• Manage or delete everything you've shared from My Captures
• Shortcuts: Ctrl+Shift+1 (visible), Ctrl+Shift+2 (region), Ctrl+Shift+3 (full page), Alt+Shift+D (Studio: draw)
PRIVACY
Screenshots and annotation need no account and never leave your computer. Screen recording and Studio need a free account, created from your Google name
and email and nothing else. Your camera and microphone are used only while you record, and only if you switch them on. Recordings and Studio lessons are
saved on your own machine and are uploaded only when you press Upload on that specific capture — never automatically.
To draw on a web page in Studio, Chrome will ask once for permission to "read and change data on websites". It is used only to place your ink on the tab
you are teaching from, never to read pages, and you can remove it any time.
There is no analytics, no tracking, no advertising and no third-party tracking code anywhere in CaptureFlow, and we never sell your data.
