About CapScroll

CapScroll takes a screenshot of a whole web page, scrolled all the way to the bottom, as one image. Annotate it, then save or copy it right away. Features Capture modes • Full page: scrolls to the end and stitches everything into one image. If only an inner list or panel scrolls, it captures the largest scroll area top to bottom. • Visible area: just what's on screen. • Select region: drag to select. Drag to the top or bottom edge to scroll and select more than one screen. • Select element: hover to highlight, then click. ↑ picks the parent element, ↓ the child. Pick a scroll area to capture all of its content. • Sticky headers aren't repeated down the image. With a modal dialog open, Select region captures it as you see it. Editor • Crop, Pixelate and Blur • Rectangle, Ellipse, Arrow, Text (optional background box), Pen and Highlighter • Number markers that count up 1, 2, 3…, and Callouts with a pointer tail • Colors and thickness; Undo and Redo up to 50 steps • Edits are saved automatically, so you can reopen a capture and keep going. Saving and copying • PNG, JPG, WebP or PDF, with a quality setting for JPG, WebP and PDF. • Size: Original, 75%, 50% or a custom width. • PDF on one page or split into A4 pages. • Very long captures open at reduced resolution, but PDF or "Split at original resolution" (several images in one ZIP) keeps full detail. • Copy puts the image on the clipboard, ready to paste. Capture history • Captures are kept on the history page with your edits. Click a card to reopen it. • Search by title or address, filter by site, grouped by Today, Yesterday and date. • Set "Captures to keep" (50 by default) and "Maximum capture height" in Settings. Extras • After capture: skip the editor and copy to the clipboard or save as a file. • Timer: pick 3s, 5s or 10s in the popup for a countdown, so you can open a menu first. • Shortcuts (change them at chrome://extensions/shortcuts): - Capture full page: Alt+Shift+F (Mac ⌥⇧F) - Capture visible area: Alt+Shift+V (Mac ⌥⇧V) - Capture region: Alt+Shift+R (Mac ⌥⇧R) - Capture element: Alt+Shift+E (Mac ⌥⇧E) • Single-key shortcuts for editor tools. • 16 languages; light and dark themes follow your system. Privacy Captures, page titles and addresses, edits and settings stay in your browser. There's no server and nothing is sent anywhere. No ads, analytics or tracking. Captures from Incognito windows aren't kept in history. Privacy policy: https://haiseek.github.io/capscroll-site/privacy/en.html Permissions • activeTab, scripting: capture only the tab where you started a capture. • storage, unlimitedStorage: keep settings and long captures on your device. • offscreen: make the image without the editor when "After capture" is copy or save. • clipboardWrite (optional): asked only when you choose "Copy to clipboard" for "After capture". No access to websites is requested. chrome:// pages and the Chrome Web Store can't be captured (Chrome policy). Contact haiseek.co@gmail.com
