About Call2Me — Live Audio Translator: Real-Time Voice & Subtitles
Live audio translation for any browser tab: hear it in your own language, spoken out loud in real time, with live subtitles as it happens.
Start a meeting, a video, a livestream or a lecture, choose the language being spoken and the language you want to hear, and press Start. The translation is read aloud over the original, which is quietly turned down while the translated voice speaks.
REAL-TIME VOICE TRANSLATION
• Captures the audio of one tab you choose — nothing else
• Translates it live and dubs it over the original voice
• Live subtitles on screen, so you can read along while you listen
• Lowers the original automatically so both stay clear
• 39 languages, you pick both sides yourself
• Works while you switch to other tabs
FREE TO USE
Every browser gets 5 free minutes to try it — a one-time allowance, not a daily one. Sign in with your Call2Me account inside the extension — with your password, or with a one-time link we email you if you prefer not to type one — and the allowance rises to 20 minutes.
ADDING FUNDS
Once the free allowance is used up, usage is billed per minute from a prepaid balance. You can top up from inside the extension: the payment form opens in a separate window and is handled by Paddle, our payment processor. Card details never pass through the extension.
PRIVACY
The audio of the tab you select is sent to Call2Me to be translated and is never stored. No page content, no browsing history, no advertising. Chrome shows its own recording indicator the whole time.
NOTE
Some protected sites, such as DRM streaming services, cannot be captured by any browser add-on. If no sound arrives, the extension says so.
ON-PAGE PANEL
Once you press Start, a small caption panel appears on the page you are translating, so the text stays visible while you watch. This is why the extension asks for access to websites: it needs to place that panel on whichever page you choose to translate. It reads nothing from the page — no text, no forms, no browsing history — and the panel never appears until you start a translation yourself.
