The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Bulk Image Downloader
Most image downloaders grab whatever is in the img tag, which on gallery sites is a thumbnail. Bulk Image Downloader goes after the file the thumbnail links to and checks it really is an image before you download.
WHAT IT DOES
- Finds the full-size original behind each thumbnail: the link target, the largest srcset entry, or the URL with the resize suffix removed (WordPress -800x600, Shopify _1024x1024, /thumbs/ folders, ?w=300 parameters and more).
- Verifies each candidate with a HEAD request and keeps the largest real image, so you never download an HTML page named .jpg.
- Bulk mode scans every open tab at once, including tabs that are the image itself, and downloads everything into Downloads/folder/site/.
- Optional: follow gallery links one level deep to collect the photos on the pages a listing links to.
- Filters by type (jpg, png, gif, webp) and minimum file size. Duplicates across tabs are downloaded once.
- Downloads run in the background, so closing the dashboard does not stop them.
HOW TO USE
1. Open a gallery page and click the toolbar icon for a quick single-page scrape.
2. Or click "Bulk from all tabs" to open the dashboard, tick the tabs, scan, review the grid, and download the selection.
