The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Brightness Lowerer Plus
Brightness Lowerer Plus - dim the web, gently. (Still 100% Private and DOES NOT READ OR STORE LITERALLY ANY of your data on the backend. 100% Secure)
Some pages are just too bright, especially at night. Brightness Lowerer Plus lets you lower the brightness of any website in one click, with a clean popup and zero tracking. Now lowerer than ever.
WHAT IT DOES
• Brightness control - drag the slider, or snap to a marker, to dim any page. Choose a soft Overlay (safe on every layout) or a Page Filter for the classic look.
• Blue light filter - warm the screen to ease eye strain, with five tones (Warm, Amber, Sepia, Ember, Rose) and adjustable intensity. Works independently of the dimming.
• Night mode - flip it on instantly, or set a schedule (say, 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM) to auto-dim with a warm tint from dusk to dawn.
• Color themes - five looks for the popup: Midnight, Pinkscale, Amber, Forest, and Daylight.
• Keyboard shortcuts - toggle on/off and adjust brightness without touching the mouse (fully rebindable in your browser).
• Speaks your language - auto-detects your browser language (English, Español, Français, Deutsch, 日本語) with a manual override.
• It sticks - settings persist across reloads and page navigation, and sync across the browsers you're signed into.
PRIVACY FIRST
100% private. Brightness Lowerer Plus collects nothing, sends nothing, and has no accounts, ads, or analytics. Everything stays on your device. It only needs permission to dim the page you're viewing and to remember your settings.
Lower the lights. Save your eyes.
