Brevyl Guard

Brevyl Guard helps you stay focused by connecting Chrome to Brevyl, an open-source focus firewall for macOS. Use it to block distracting websites and high-distraction feeds while keeping your daily focus rules simple. Brevyl Guard protects the browser side of Brevyl, so the desktop app can keep Chrome aligned with your focus schedule. What Brevyl Guard helps with: - Block distracting websites in Chrome - Keep social media and short-form feeds away during focus time - Support a local-first productivity setup on macOS - Show whether browser protection is connected and active - Work with the Brevyl desktop app instead of asking you to manage browser rules by hand Brevyl is built for people who want a stricter focus tool: students, builders, remote workers, and anyone who wants fewer interruptions from entertainment sites, social media, and endless-scroll content. Brevyl is open source and local-first. Your focus rules are managed by the Brevyl app on your Mac, and this extension acts as the Chrome protection layer.
