About Bowmark Link
Bowmark runs real tasks on websites for AI agents like Claude and ChatGPT. Some of those tasks need you signed in: your LinkedIn, your YouTube, your GitHub. Bowmark Link is how you hand over a login you already have, in one click, instead of signing in again.
How it works:
- Open a site you are signed in to, click the Bowmark Link button in the toolbar, and choose "Link this site". Chrome asks you to allow that one site. Nothing is shared for a site you have not allowed.
- When a Bowmark task needs a site, its sign-in page shows "Use Chrome extension". Click it and the login this browser already holds goes to that task.
- By default Bowmark keeps an encrypted copy of a linked site's login, so your tasks keep working when Chrome is closed. You can turn that off for any site.
- Some sites, such as LinkedIn, only accept your own browser, so Bowmark keeps no copy of those. While you are signed in to Bowmark, your own Bowmark tasks make their requests to such a site from this Chrome, and the answers go back to Bowmark. Only for sites you linked.
- A small badge shows on any page Bowmark is using, and the toolbar button lists every site you linked. Unlink any site at any time.
Linking a site needs no account. Keeping logins on Bowmark, and letting your tasks reach this Chrome, need a Bowmark account (bowmark.ai). Sign in to it from the toolbar button.
