BossGate

Stop scrolling. Earn your access. BossGate turns your most distracting websites and apps into arcade-style boss fights. Beat the boss, earn your unlock time. Lose, and you wait. No shortcuts, no willpower required. How it works: Pick an app or site to block (Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, TikTok, anything) Set your unlock duration (5–20 minutes) When you try to access it, face the boss Win = unlock your distraction. Lose = try again later Why BossGate works when willpower doesn't: Most focus apps reward you with soft points or gentle timers. BossGate uses real stakes. The difficulty is the feature — not a bug. When losing a boss fight feels worse than closing the tab, you'll close the tab. Features: - 4 boss types: Bullet Hell, Memory, Reflex, and Puzzle - Custom unlock durations (5, 10, 15, or 20 minutes) - Free tier: block up to 2 apps - Pro: unlimited app blocking - Currently works on Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge Is this for you? If you've tried any focus timer and still caught yourself scrolling for 45 minutes, BossGate is for you. Real consequences, real engagement.
