BookOrSkip

BookOrSkip is a Chrome extension that helps you decide whether to book or skip a hotel, Airbnb, vacation rental, hostel, or apartment before you book. While browsing Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, Hostelworld, or Expedia, BookOrSkip automatically displays independent review insights directly on the listing page. WHAT YOU SEE • BookOrSkip Score (0–10) • Clear BOOK or SKIP verdict • Trust check comparing platform ratings with independent reviews • Live listing price (when available) • Direct link to honest guest reviews on BookOrSkip.com COMPARE UP TO 7 STAYS Save listings with one click and compare up to seven accommodations side by side. Compare: • BookOrSkip Score • BOOK or SKIP verdict • Platform rating • Price • Free cancellation (when available) Share your comparison with friends or family using a single link, so everyone sees the same information before booking. INDEPENDENT TRAVEL REVIEWS BookOrSkip helps travelers discover honest accommodation reviews beyond traditional booking platforms. Instead of relying only on platform ratings and professional photos, you can quickly see whether previous guests recommend booking—or skipping—the property. HOW IT WORKS When you open a supported accommodation listing, BookOrSkip securely reads the listing URL or property ID and searches BookOrSkip for matching reviews. If reviews already exist, you'll instantly see the BookOrSkip Score. If the property hasn't been reviewed yet, you can become the first traveler to leave an independent review. SUPPORTED BOOKING SITES • Airbnb • Booking.com • Vrbo • Hostelworld • Expedia More booking platforms will be added soon. PRIVACY BookOrSkip only sends the listing URL or property ID required to identify the accommodation. We never track your browsing history, scrape review content from booking platforms, or sell your personal data. The extension interface automatically follows your browser language, including English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, and Arabic. Check before you book.
