The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Bookmark Updater
Bookmark Updater - Auto-Sync Bookmarks to the Current Tab URL
Tired of bookmarks that point to stale, outdated, or redirected URLs? Bookmark Updater automatically rewrites a saved bookmark to match the current URL of a tab as you navigate, no manual editing required.
How it works
Enable the extension on any bookmarked tab with a single click. From that point on, whenever the tab navigates to a new URL, through a regular page load, a redirect, a single-page app route change, or a hash update, the bookmark is silently updated to match. The bookmark title updates too, so your bookmark library stays clean and accurate.
Click the toolbar icon again to stop tracking that tab.
Key features
- Auto-update bookmarks on navigation, covers full page loads, HTTP redirects, history.pushState / replaceState (SPAs), and fragment/hash changes
- Bookmark title sync, updates the saved title to the current page title automatically
- Granular title control, disable title updates globally, or exclude specific URLs using prefix rules or * wildcards
- Per-tab toggle, enable only on the tabs you choose; other tabs are never affected
- Visual feedback, toolbar icon changes to confirm each successful bookmark update
- No account required, works entirely locally; no data is sent anywhere
Who is this for?
- Users who bookmark web apps that change URL after login or onboarding
- Developers working with single-page applications (React, Vue, Angular) where the URL evolves as you navigate
- Anyone who follows links from bookmarks and wants the bookmark to stay current with where they end up (for shows, webcomics, manga, etc.)
- Power users managing large bookmark collections who want URLs to stay accurate without manual maintenance
