The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Bodhi
Bodhi is a home for your reading, notes and ideas, with every insight connected to its source. This extension saves what you find on the web to your Bodhi Library on your Mac.
Click the Bodhi button, or press ⌘⇧S on a Mac (Ctrl+Shift+S elsewhere), on the page you want to keep:
• A journal article saves as a paper. Its title, authors, year and journal are read from the page, and its PDF comes too when the publisher offers it.
• A news story or blog post saves as an article you can read, highlight and cite in Bodhi.
• A PDF open in your browser saves as a PDF, using your own access to it.
• A YouTube video saves with its transcript, so you can highlight what was said.
One click saves it, into the project you have open in Bodhi. The panel shows where it went. From there you can move it to another project, add tags or a note, or remove it. If you already have it, Bodhi says so instead of saving it twice. Right-click any link and choose Save link to Bodhi to keep it for later.
A paper is saved with its PDF. If the publisher does not give you the PDF, nothing is saved and Bodhi says how to get it, for example by opening the page through your university or institution.
The extension works with the Bodhi app for Mac, which is free on your computer. The first time, Bodhi asks you to allow this browser. If Bodhi isn't open, your save waits in the browser and goes to Bodhi when it opens.
Nothing is read until you click. What you save goes to the Bodhi app on your computer.
