The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Birdie OS
Birdie is the fastest way to get something off the web and into Birdie, without the copy, paste, and switch-tabs shuffle.
See something worth keeping? Click Birdie and it is saved, along with a note in your own words about why it mattered.
Two ways to capture:
• Highlight and send. Select text on any page and send it straight to Birdie. Reading something long? Stage several highlights as you go, then send them all as one grouped note.
• Save a page with a comment. Keep a link along with your own note on it. Birdie stores the URL and your comment, so it holds your thinking, not just a bookmark.
Why you will like it:
• One click, no friction. No new tab, no dialog to wade through. Capture and get back to what you were doing.
• Your words, not just the raw clip. Every capture can carry a note, so future-you knows why it is there.
• Everything lands in one place. Captures flow into Birdie where the rest of your knowledge already lives.
Getting started:
Birdie connects to your Birdie account with an API key. Open the extension, paste your key, and you are ready to capture. If you do not have an account yet, visit birdieos.app.
Privacy:
Birdie only sends what you choose to capture: the text you highlight or the page URL and note you write. It does not read or track your browsing, and it does not fetch page contents on its own. Your API key is stored locally in your browser.
