BidTracker

BidTracker is a Chrome extension designed specifically for Catawiki auctions. It helps you understand the real cost of a potential bid, follow interesting lots and make better-informed bidding decisions. WHAT BIDTRACKER DOES • Calculate the estimated total cost of a bid, including buyer protection and shipping. • Save lots in My Lots and keep track of their current status. • Set a personal price limit for each followed lot. • Monitor bid changes and auction closing times. • Open your saved lot through a tracked Catawiki link and refresh its data when you choose “Update and check on Catawiki”. • Use Smart Final Bid to review the current bid, suggested next bid, remaining time and your personal limit before bidding. • Receive browser reminders when a followed auction is approaching its detected closing time or exceeds your limit. • Use the BidTracker dashboard from Catawiki pages and view all your followed lots in one place. IMPORTANT BEFORE BIDDING BidTracker is an assistant, not the final source of auction information. Before placing a bid, always verify the current bid, next minimum bid, remaining time and other relevant information directly on Catawiki. If anything differs between Catawiki and BidTracker, use the information currently displayed on Catawiki and follow Catawiki’s bidding instructions manually. BidTracker does not place bids automatically. Any bid must be reviewed and confirmed by the user through Catawiki. CATAWIKI ACCOUNT BidTracker can be used without a Catawiki account. However, signing in to Catawiki provides a more complete experience and is required for functions such as placing bids. AFFILIATE DISCLOSURE BidTracker uses Catawiki affiliate tracking through Partnerize. Tracking may be used when you explicitly choose a BidTracker function that opens or refreshes a Catawiki page. BidTracker does not generate affiliate tracking simply because a Catawiki page or BidTracker card is displayed. PRIVACY Followed lots, bid history and personal price limits are stored locally in your browser. BidTracker does not request your Catawiki password or automatically place bids.
