The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Becoming
Overview
Save your Kindle highlights, web article passages, YouTube videos, and X posts into Becoming.
The Becoming Chrome Extension is the capture side of Becoming, a platform designed
to help you remember what you read — and actually live it.
With Becoming, you can:
✅ Keep your highlights from Kindle, web articles, YouTube, X, and other sources in one place.
✅ Highlight and save passages from any web page as you read.
✅ Save YouTube videos and let Becoming extract the key insights from the transcript.
✅ Save a single X post, or bring in everything you bookmarked and liked — grouped by author.
✅ Search your whole library with AI — by keyword or by describing what you're looking for.
✅ Tag and organize your saved content for easy reference.
✅ Get a short Daily Review by email so your best insights come back to you.
✅ Turn recurring themes in your reading into 4-week practice cycles with the Academy.
How It Works
The extension syncs your Kindle highlights with your Becoming account: one click
imports your Kindle notebook — every book, highlight, and note. You sign in to
Amazon in your own browser as usual; no passwords are ever shared with us.
While browsing the web, select any passage and click "Save to Becoming" to send it
to your library with the article's title, author, and link. On YouTube, a
"Save to Becoming" button next to Like/Share imports the video and its key ideas.
On X, click the toolbar icon on any post to save it — or open your bookmarks and a
Becoming button appears on the page to bring the whole shelf in at once, grouped by
the people who wrote them. Your likes work the same way. X has no import API for
bookmarks, so the extension reads what your browser already shows you while you are
signed in; it only reads those pages, and it can never post or change your account.
Everything you capture lands in one searchable library, feeds your Daily Review,
and — on the Academy plan — powers Themes: guided 4-week cycles that turn the ideas
you keep highlighting into small daily practices.
