Barcode & QR Generator

Barcode & QR Generator lets you create and read barcodes and QR codes directly from Chrome's side panel, without leaving the page you're on or using any external website. To generate a code: type or paste text, a URL, or numbers into the side panel and choose a format (CODE128, EAN-13, UPC-A, CODE39, or QR Code). The extension renders the code instantly inside the panel, and you can download it as a PNG image. To read a code: click "Crop & Scan" in the side panel. The extension takes a screenshot of the page you're currently viewing, and you drag a selection box around the barcode or QR code shown on that page. The extension decodes the code from the cropped image and displays the resulting text in the side panel, where you can copy it or send it back into the generator to recreate or edit it. All generation, screenshot capture, and decoding happen locally in your browser. No data is collected, transmitted to a server, or shared with any third party. Because the side panel stays open while you browse (unlike a popup), it stays docked next to whatever page you're working on instead of closing every time you need to generate or read a code.
