Bangla Translate: On-Page Dictionary

Select any English or Bangla text on a webpage and see the translation right where you selected it - no copying, no switching tabs, no leaving the page. 𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗜𝗧 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗦 Highlight text on any website. A small Translate button appears. Click it and the translation opens in place. Direction is automatic. Select English, get Bangla. Select Bangla, get English. There is nothing to configure. 𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗔 𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗟𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗗 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗘 When you select one word instead of a sentence, you also get: - The English meaning of the word - English synonyms you can click to look up in turn - Pronunciation, for both the word and its translation Clicking a synonym reloads the panel for that word, so you can explore related vocabulary without leaving the article. A back arrow returns you to where you started. 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗕𝗬 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗡 Translation runs entirely on your own computer using Chrome's built-in translation model. The text you select is never uploaded, never sent to a translation server, and never stored. There are no accounts, no API keys, no tracking, and no analytics. After the one-time model download, translation works offline. 𝗕𝗨𝗜𝗟𝗧 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 Made for students and professionals reading English articles, research papers, news, and documentation in Bangla — and for anyone reading Bangla content who wants quick English meanings. 𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 - Chrome 138 or later, on desktop. Mobile Chrome is not supported. - The first translation downloads a language model. This takes a few minutes and needs an unmetered connection. After that it is instant. - Meaning and synonyms use Chrome's on-device AI model, which needs at least 22 GB of free disk space and a reasonably modern computer. On machines below that, translation still works normally and these two sections simply do not appear. - Bangla pronunciation requires a Bangla voice installed in your operating system. English pronunciation works everywhere.
