About Axiom Paper Trading
Practice trading on Axiom with virtual funds, simulated execution costs, and realistic position management. No real orders. No account required.
➤ Practice Trading on Axiom Without Risking Real Money
Looking for a way to paper trade on Axiom before committing real funds? Axiom Paper Trading is a Chrome extension that adds a simulated trading experience to supported Axiom token pages, letting you practice with virtual balances while following live market data.
Instead of relying on a basic demo that assumes every order fills at the displayed price, this Axiom trading simulator models price impact, trading fees, slippage limits, and execution delays. You can experiment with entry strategies, manage positions, and evaluate your results without submitting simulated trades as real orders.
Your paper wallet is separate from your real assets. There is no paper-trading account to create, and your simulated balances are stored locally in your browser.
➤ How to Paper Trade on Axiom
Getting started is straightforward. Set your virtual balance in the extension’s wallet controls, open a supported Axiom token page, and use the clearly marked PAPER trading panel to simulate a buy or sell.
Your paper balance updates after each simulated fill. Buying more of a token updates its average entry price, while selling reduces your position and records the corresponding performance. You can also use Sell Init. to recover your original position cost when the simulated position has appreciated, allowing the remaining position to continue running. If the position is below its original cost, Sell Init. closes it instead.
Preset buys let you practice entering positions with a chosen amount of virtual currency. Preset sells let you reduce your position by a selected percentage.
Whether you are learning how to paper trade on Axiom or refining an established strategy, the goal is the same: practice your decisions in the trading interface you already know.
➤ Realistic Simulated Fills and Trading Fees
A useful paper-trading experience needs more than virtual money. The price you receive can significantly affect the outcome of a strategy, especially when trading tokens with limited liquidity.
Axiom Paper Trading models price impact on simulated orders. For tokens that remain on a pump.fun bonding curve, it uses a bonding-curve model. For migrated tokens, it uses available pool liquidity to estimate execution impact. When liquidity information is unavailable, a fallback estimate is used and identified accordingly.
You can set an execution delay of up to five seconds. The simulator uses the price available when that delay ends, rather than automatically assuming you would have filled at the price seen when you first clicked. Prices older than 12 seconds are rejected to help prevent fills based on stale data.
Slippage tolerance is also part of the simulation. When estimated price impact exceeds your selected tolerance, the trade can fail rather than being filled regardless of market conditions.
Simulated fees are deducted from your paper balance on each fill. The current model includes an Axiom platform fee set at 0.9%, along with applicable pool fees and network-related costs. On Solana, you can account for priority fees and bribes. BNB Chain and Robinhood Chain use their corresponding modeled gas costs where supported.
You can configure fee settings separately for buys and sells on each chain. Each fill also records the price source and execution model used, making it easier to understand how a simulated result was calculated.
Important: These are estimates, not exact reproductions of real execution. Actual slippage, price impact, network conditions, latency, and fills can differ from the simulator.
➤ Manage Positions With Take-Profit and Stop-Loss Levels
Paper trading becomes more useful when you can test your exit strategy as carefully as your entry.
Set take-profit targets using a price multiple or a custom target. You choose how much of your position to sell at each level, making it possible to simulate partial profit-taking while retaining some exposure to a potential move.
Stop-loss orders let you define a percentage decline at which the simulator should attempt to close part or all of a position. You can attach multiple take-profit and stop-loss levels to one position, with the corresponding market-cap trigger displayed for each level.
You can also save preferred exit settings as defaults for new buys. Alternatively, configure levels before entering a token and have them attached to your next buy for that token.
Triggers require two consecutive confirming price checks, helping reduce the chance that a single unreliable price update will trigger an exit.
Limit buys let you specify the market cap at which you want to simulate an entry. Enter a target such as 300K or 2M, and the simulator monitors the target conditions.
➤ Track PnL and Review Your Trading Decisions
Axiom Paper Trading gives you more than a virtual balance. The trade panel displays your position’s performance, including how much you have bought and sold, what you still hold, and your profit or loss.
You can view PnL in USD or the relevant native currency. The wallet and trade-history panel provides a broader view of your simulated performance, including win rate and trade count. Open positions show their entry and current market caps alongside their value and PnL.
Closed trades retain their results so you can review how each practice session performed. The PnL calendar provides a daily view of realized results, making it easier to spot patterns in your consistency over time.
You can also attach personal notes to a position or a completed trade. Notes remain associated with the trade after it closes, and you can export your journal notes as a text file for further analysis.
